In 1620 the English galleon, Mayflower, set out from the port of Southampton with 102 pilgrims on board. Because of bad weather, the crossing took 77 days. On December 21 the ship landed at what is today Plymouth, Massachusetts. She was destroyed on her return trip to England in 1624. Double plank-on-frame construction in limewood and walnut, with pre-cut parts and all fittings. A set of pre-sewn sails is included. Suitable for the enthusiastic brginner.
